The complainant states that she requested her dogs' vaccination records in early
December via Palm Glen's website. She needed the information as she was getting
her dogs licensed in another state. She called in mid-December and was told the
doctor would have to review the records first. She still received no records as
of early January and filed a complaint.
Mangone sent no response, only the records. The Findings of Fact state at least
some of the vaccination records were eventually sent in early January, but full
medical records weren't sent to the new veterinarian until the beginning of
February.
The Investigative Committee found that it was "straightforward" the records
weren't provided in a timely manner. They found a violation, and the board went
on to require Mangone to take four hours of continuing education in medical
records management and pay a $250 fine.
