Archives

Here you'll find materials including veterinary complaints, tax forms, public records, and other information that have proved useful in research or are otherwise cited elsewhere on the website. Many of these sources are available online, were collected through our own research, or obtained as a result of public records requests with the state.

As of mid-2023, much of our archival content has been migrated to our account at the Internet Archive. This means that links to this material will take you to the Internet Archive rather than our website. It also means that our collected public records on veterinary and government misbehavior will likely survive both the persons and polities responsible, perhaps on the order of hundreds of years. Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board (ASVMEB) Collection

As we started out in Arizona, we have a special place in our hearts for the malfunctioning of the state's veterinary regulator. If they didn't do such a bad job, we wouldn't be here, so here are our materials relevant to that particular agency.

The ASVMEB Complaints are several years' worth of Arizona veterinary complaints.
The ASVMEB Board Orders are archived disciplinary orders from the Arizona veterinary board.
The ASVMEB Board Meeting Minutes are published minutes for public sessions of ASVMEB board meetings.
The ASVMEB Nomination Hearings are video recordings of Senate hearings for ASVMEB appointees.
The ASVMEB Audio contains our small but growing set of audio clippings from ASVMEB meetings.
The ASVMEB Executive Summaries contain the official resumés submitted along with ASVMEB appointees.

Other Content

We also collect other public records relevant to our inquiries. We particularly enjoy reading through Arizona Corporation Commission filings and IRS Form 990 records.

The Corporate Forms are a curated set of tax and corporation commission records interesting for what they say—or sometimes don't.
