A rescue dog gets spayed at a charity event but part of an ovary stayed

Complaint: Complaint 18-38
Respondent: Andrew Carlton
Premises: ASAVET Charities

The complainant says that Carlton spayed his newly-adopted dog but the dog later went into heat. The complainant took the dog to another vet who said that the dog needed further surgery. Carlton replied that initially he had no record of the dog, but it turned out that was because it was done at an ASAVE Charities event. The Investigative Committee said that it was too bad the complainants didn't contact ASAVET again as they would have gotten the second surgery as a freebie; it appears part of an ovary was still inside the dog.
