The complainant took her dogs to Harmon for a dental. They called the complainant and said one of the dogs needed two medications, a pain killer and an antibiotic. She went to pick up her dogs and was given only one bottle of medication. She asked where the other one was and was told that was the only one. She says that she went back to check and came back handed her the medicine along with tossing her the other dog. After that she says she politely confirmed that was it but that the staff member was rude to her; she says she was very upset at this point, went in to complain, was largely ignored, and thus she finally used the s-word in public. She attempted to speak with Harmon for several days about the matter but never heard back. She finally got a letter in the mail from Harmon telling her never to come back to her clinic. The complainant relates that this is shocking as she's been going to that clinic for years and never had an experience like this before. She also says that Harmon never checked in once to see how the dogs were doing.
Harmon tells us that the complainant was banned for verbally abusing one of her employees. She said that the employee did in fact forget the antibiotics the first time but brought them out the second time. We're told the complainant got very angry at this point and made a scene. She says there are statements from other staff members confirming the story. She also says she spoke with her employees and learned the complainant had been difficult and nasty for years so she was told to never come back.
The Investigative Committee "briefly discussed" that there was verbal abuse requiring the ending of the client relationship.
