A real doctor continues to have concerns about the veterinary practices that allegedly killed his dog: Part II

Complaint: Complaint 21-61
Respondent: Kenneth Besecker III
Premises: BluePearl Phoenix
Related: 21-54, 21-60

This complaint follows from 21-60 and pertains to Besecker's role as a veterinary technician.

Besecker's response states that the dog was treated by the primary veterinarian for suspected pancreatitis. Technician assistant Marisol collected information and told the complainant she would take the dog inside for triage. We're told the dog was triaged and since the dog had already had outpatient treatment, the complainant was told that the dog would need to be hospitalized; once the dog was hospitalized, he says the veterinarian would call the complainant with information. He says that the complainant wanted to take the dog home but was warned if the dog didn't improve he needed to take the dog somewhere else. A female later called and said "you fuckers killed my dog," at which point she was put on a brief hold and transferred to a veterinarian. (There are attached statements that the vet board doesn't consider part of the response for public records purposes.)

The Investigative Committee response is pasted from 21-60. They say that Besecker had nothing to do with the dog or with Marisol and was just standing there, so it wasn't his problem. (It's hard to tell whether they're trying to blame the entire mess on Marisol and the coronavirus?)

Remember that in 21-98 even the investigators get so concerned they want an investigation into BluePearl's triage process; that one turns up nothing too.
