This complaint is a result of an inspection report. The Findings of Fact include mentions of expired supplies, incorrect anesthesia logs, expired prescriptions, missing controlled substance inventories, consistency in medical records, and a few other items. The most curious finding I'll put below, verbatim:
R3 -11-703(4) Freezer needs cleaned (deceased freezer full of frozen meals and euthanized cats), files piled up and stored inappropriately, and overall premises cluttered;
Oyan's response states that she's had a variety of serious family and health issues that have caused her a great deal of problems; she's finding it difficult to keep up. She states that she's going to do a better job going forward regarding keeping the hospital clean, hiring someone to help with cleaning and filing, getting a shredding service to tidy up old documents, and more. There's also going to be some better handling of anesthesia monitoring recording. She also notes that like all veterinary clinics it's difficult to find staff and handle clients.
