A dog's last moments alive also involved a very close shave and a rather loud howl: Part II

Complaint: Complaint 19-64
Respondent: Tyler Padgett
Premises: AZPetVet Beardsley Animal Hospital
Related: 19-63

This complaint follows from 19-63 and covers Padgett's involvement.

Padgett gives us a rundown on the shaving and euthanasia. Padgett initially thought the dog vocalized when alcohol was placed on the vein for the catheter, but after reviewing their video of the procedure it was determined that the dog vocalized while tape was being placed on the leg to hold the catheter in place. Apparently the job was done with Fatal-Plus. He also says that the complainant did get a refund check in the mail but apparently the complainant filed the complaint before the refund check arrived at his address. He concludes by saying that euthanasia procedures are emotional and they try really hard.

The Investigative Committee stated that pet owners sometimes have a preconceived notion of how euthanasias are going to go.
