A cat has a lot of problems and a complainant gets kicked out by a lot of veterinarians: Part III

Complaint: Complaint 18-67
Respondent: Melanie Olson
Premises: River Road Pet Clinic
Related: 18-65, 18-66

The complainant believes that the upper respiratory infection mentioned in 18-65 came from this facility. She also says the facility failed to address a potential tumor on her cat. She says she brought her cat in for evaluation of the mass but became sidetracked with kidney issues. She also states that they should have performed a needle biopsy. She also claims that she had been treating some of the conditions with natural and holistic remedies with success.

Olson gives a rundown of the history, stating that the cat presented for leg lameness. As part of the workup some tests were done suggesting a urinary tract infection so a urine test was recommended. She also notes that x-rays were performed after a bone lesion was found on exam, with the results sent off and coming back suggesting arthritis; no sign of cancer or bone infection was found. A valley fever titer also came back negative. She states that as a result of the complainant's behavior she was no longer welcome at the clinic.

The Investigative Committee discussion is basically the same as from 18-65. They also note that the complainant declined Olson's recommendations.
